Privacy policy
Effective July 2026. This is written in plain language on purpose. It says what we actually do.
What we collect
When you submit an attempt through our site, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, your description of the attempt, and any link you include. Our hosting provider (Netlify) collects standard server logs. We do not run advertising trackers, sell data, or use third-party analytics that profile you.
How we use it
To evaluate your submission and respond to you. That is the entire use. We do not add you to marketing lists. We do not share your submission with anyone outside our diligence process.
Your materials
We read every attempt. We treat submitted materials as confidential and use them only to evaluate the opportunity. We do not share your deck, data, or ideas with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Retention and removal
We keep submissions as long as they are relevant to an active or potential conversation. Want yours deleted? Email hello@thetryco.com and we will remove it.
California and elsewhere
If applicable law (including the CCPA) gives you rights to access, correct, or delete your information, we will honor them. Same email.
